Mumbai, November 7, 2026 : Salman Khan-hosted reality television show Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 has crossed 100 crore (1 billion) viewing hours on JioHotstar in less than 60 days, according to reports citing data shared by the show's broadcaster, JioStar.
The achievement makes Season 20 the fastest season in the Bigg Boss franchise to reach the milestone. The record comes as the franchise completes 20 years in India.
According to information reported by Live Hindustan on Saturday, the current season has also received more than 350 crore votes. This represents a reported increase of 71% compared with the previous season. The number of participating voters has also increased, according to the report.
Salman Khan celebrates the achievement
Host Salman Khan celebrated the milestone on the show's set by cutting a multi-tier cake. He also thanked viewers for their support.
According to reports, the show's digital audience has grown across different age groups. Gen Z viewers account for 45% of the total watch time this season.
The season has also attracted advertising partnerships from 24 brands across different business categories, according to reports on the show's performance.
Six contestants face eviction
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 20 has entered its ninth week. Six contestants have been nominated for the upcoming eviction.

- The eviction result is expected during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes scheduled for November 7 and 8. Salman Khan is hosting the weekend episodes.
Panchayat actor Aasif Khan was the latest contestant to leave the show. He was evicted on November 1 after being nominated alongside other housemates.
