Curry Barker’s horror film Obsession will begin streaming in India in its original uncut version on JioHotstar on October 30 at 7 PM IST, according to the platform’s announcement. The film will be available in English and Hindi through The Peacock Hub, ahead of Halloween.
The digital release follows the film’s Indian theatrical debut on May 29, 2026. Its cinema release drew attention after edits were made during certification by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The upcoming streaming version is being presented as the original uncut edition.

Plot and Cast
The film stars Michael Johnston as Bear, a music-store employee who uses a supernatural object called the One Wish Willow to make his childhood love, Nikki, played by Inde Navarrette, fall in love with him. His wish produces increasingly disturbing consequences as Nikki’s affection becomes an uncontrollable fixation.
Cooper Tomlinson and Megan Lawless also feature in the film.
